My December Accomplishments
Things I've accomplished so far this month:
- Earned my Purple Belts (belt #5) in Tae Kwon Do and Combat Hapkido
- Received the Student of the Year award from my Martial Arts School
- Had an assist in outdoor soccer - may have been my first ever
- Scored a goal in outdoor soccer - my first EVER!!!
- Got a yellow card in the same game, my second in about 20 years.. I was apparently being "too aggressive". It was given to me within the first 2 minutes of my field time (lol!). If you ask me, I think the other team was just a bunch of wimps.
- Got smacked directly in the face with the soccer ball, kept going without even flinching - and accomplishment because my nose is.. well, used to be... ultra wimpy and tender such that I would have normally crumpled to the ground bleeding.... but I didn't!!! I attribute this to getting punched in the face on a regular basis, usually every week
