Eidi Geriftam! *edited!*
I just received my EYDI!!! im sooo excited. Sure, it's a week late. haha but oh well! For those who don't know, Eydi is just the $$ you receive for Norouz. (60 :]) I can buy 3/4 of a pair of jeans from express!
Kovoos, Sue, Nik, and Andrew just left. They came over to celebrate Norouz/Easter. We're crazy. Instead of getting together with family, we get together with fellow Iroonis! It was good times. We had a delicious Persian/American feast. yumm... and we talked about Dariush and I found out some things about our family that I never realized before. Crazy persians. I was serving them tea (chayee) and kovoos was like, "marzieh joon, you know that when a girl serves a family tea, that means she is ready for marriage, right? shes showing the family that she can be a good housewife for their son." i was like oh hellll no. your sons are 14 and like 9. hahaha. well anyways my aunt Zari called from Iran to say "easter mobarak!" shes so sweet. my aunts used to rag on me for having long hair, so she was like hey did you grow it out again? i was like ohh you know it.
anyways i finally got my cd burner to work and i got to burn my mostly persian (but some arabi musiq) dance mixx.
