Wow, so beautiful, powerful and perfect. I love that you took the story in this direction; Luke has had enough self loathing in his life and I'm so happy that he is stronger after the attack not weaker. Reid really did save him and I love that he reassured Reid, didn't allow him to blame himself and this - “I know you think cause you’re older and more experienced than I am that you need to be the strong one, “ Luke whispered to him softly, “but you don’t. I’m okay. Really. And I’m right here.” Luke caressed him again. “Look at me,” he commanded Reid. - I love that they can both be there for each other.

Reid finally met Luke’s eyes again. His own eyes were glistening with emotion. Slowly, Reid raised Luke’s hand from his chest and placed a small kiss on the inside of his palm.“Luke,” Reid said simply, gazing at him intensely, “I love you.”
This was so sweet. I love an open, vulnerable Reid and you write it so well.

Thanks! Yes, for me Luke's real "growing up" story (unlike the horror they did to him on the show), would be moving past his fear and self-loathing to find his secure place in the world ...and his love too LOL

I love that Luke has Holden, Vienna/Henry, Lucinda/John, and of course Reid. Lily is an idiot!

You wrote Reid's pain beautifully! And OMG, he told Luke he love's him!!!
