Alison had cheated on Rafe once before. Though it wasn’t really her fault. She couldn’t exactly control what her body was doing. That may seem like just an excuse to most but in Port Charles it’s just one of those strange things that happens. Only this time it wasn’t because of some dark force. Instead it was because of Livvie’s stupid insecurities over Caleb and Alison‘s friendship. Yep, Livvie managed to screw up Alison’s life yet again. Only this time it was because of a stupid wish Livvie had made with Caleb’s ring instead of her usual plotting and scheming. Though Alison didn’t know any of that at first but once she did she was furious.
It’s no secret that Livvie and Alison were best friends turned enemies but this was just so stupid and ridiculous. If Alison sleeping with Caleb wasn’t bad enough, Livvie had to wish for Caleb to conceive a child that night too. That scared Alison more than cheating on Rafe. She was worried sick about whether the baby she was carrying was really Caleb’s and what Rafe would think when he found out.
Eventually she did come clean and tell Rafe everything about that night and about the wish Livvie had made. Thankfully, he was angrier at Livvie and Caleb than he was at her. He was mad at Livvie for making the wish in the first place and at Caleb for allowing it to happen. Though in all honesty, Caleb was as much of a victim in this as she was. Thankfully, in the end everything turned out alright because the baby turned out not to be Caleb’s but instead it was Rafe‘s all along. There’s no amount of money in this world that could ever make Alison ever cheat on Rafe again. There’s no way she ever wanted to go through any of it again.
