A Way to Help
Since the snowstorms hit Colorado and other Plains states, the National Guard has been dropping hay to stranded livestock. With the recent weather we've had in Oklahoma (especially the panhandle and eastern OK), ranchers are having trouble getting hay in addition to just getting to their cattle.
I've been searching for a way to donate money to help relief efforts and I finally found one option.
The Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association is accepting donations of hay or monetary donations to help with relief efforts.
Even if you don't live in Oklahoma, attempt to give some kind of relief. I'm sure there are other groups accepting donations but I haven't found them. At the very least, this makes me feel like I'm doing something for those poor animals.
