Considering he was the one piloting the ship, I'd say it's pretty likely that whoever it is is blaming the captain.

I know nothing of this advance4d technology, so I have no opinion. Except I'm certain we're missing a key part of the ignition process that would allow us to leave.

I thought so too. I had a look at the thing earlier, but I've got a feeling that if it's anything like some of the ships we've got back where I came from, you probably need the right set of biometrics to even get it to start.

DNA, basically. Back home, they key really important ships to a certain person's DNA so that no one else can fly it.
