You didn't happen to catch sight of anything about someplace called Soul Society, did you?

Ah, I didn't look that closely. But the section is over there.

[points to the left. he closes the book in his own lap, setting it aside and gracefully getting to his feet]

I don't say no to good company! [ particularly when it meant more eyes, and hands, at her disposal. Hell, she'd prefer if she could get other people to do all the looking for her, but preferences weren't often realities. ]

[ she winks, and looks at the shelves, eyes widening ]

Then how about Divine Guru Rangiku? [ she grins, then shrugs. ] Rangiku will be fine.

Ah, so the computers have the filing system. It's been accurate so far?

Seems to be. I really was just searching by sight rather than technology.

Searching by whim is half the fun if you're not in a hurry. [ one of the volumes catches her eye, though she doesn't pull it off the shelf. An Annotated History of Inglorious Situations? ]

With a section this big, I wonder if histories outside of Earth are covered as well.

I'd imagine there are. If there are cruise ships in space, there must be colonies as well.

Still would be pretty amazing, and arrogant, if they were all only human histories.

Well that'd be silly. I found vampire histories earlier.
