Perbacco Went to this little cozy Italian place in Alphabet City on the recommendation of my new foodie source - my cubicle neighbor whose husband is a chef. She is also a huge Jets fan, but I won't hold that against her. Perbacco's dishes were well-balanced, rich, and delicious. The fried mozzarella appetizer was too small for my taste, but the pastas were heavenly. The desserts were both imaginative (chocolate hamburger), and rich, without being too sticky sweet. The ambiance is perfect - a rare place with excellent food and service but no pretention.
