Last weekend was the big mid-summer bash for this area, called Seafair. There's lots of parades, fairs, activities, hydro races on Lake Washington, and the Blue Angels come around and buzz the area for 3 or 4 days.
As usual, I stayed at home and watched the races on my TV, and awaited the Blue Angels. This year I got some fairly nice shots of them as they passed over my house. Take a look!
I caught them just as they were about to burst onto the scene, only just having started their first pass towards the lake.
20-minutes later the diamond 4 made a big sweep over the house.
And yes, 20-minutes later still, I caught the team forming up over Bellevue, for their farewell pass over the lake.
40-minutes of hanging around in my front yard, just to catch those 3 images...
