Where I rant about built-in obsolescence

I don't want to buy a new laptop. I don't like being forced to do so either. Have people seen the photos of where "recycled" electronics get sent to? Of course new things are shiny and pretty when new, because they don't come with photos or a description of the mining and toxic substances and environmental destruction and carbon output involved with the making of them.

Plus new laptops would come with Windows Vista. :(
