I doubt our NC Senate and Congress-Critters would even blink if I sent therm a letter, or called them. Most are all firmly in the GOPocket.

Calling and bitching? Keeping their fax machines busy?

They have to count, record and respond to every call/fax/letter they get. This is their WORK. Even if you don't think you can change their minds, you're letting these people know YOURS. They're accountable to us (well, you), and if you don't want to even remind them of it, then it becomes everybody's loss.

I've said it before, I've said it again. Numbers matter. Sometimes you don't know the totals, or what it takes to make an impact, so just do it. Wal-Mart has been known to respond to an issue after just receiving 20 letters on it. Twenty!
