Still haven't caught up on my sleep from the end of last week..
Spent the weekend in NYC seeing Killing Joke, ok.. not quite, but I was there anyway.
Night 1, blind murderous cramp induced rage. I got to hear the band and watch them from the TV on the bar. I went onto the floor but I didn't see anything, not even the tops of heads.
I suppose it was just as well, though because by the encore I could no longer stand up right and there were crowd surfers.
Sunday was a failed attempt to buy latex. Epic fail in fact because nothing fit. I am not even sure how it is possible that 2 outfits from the same label in the same size can be so drastically different (one way way too small, the other way too big). Grumble.
We decided that I was going to see god damn it. So I was up against the stage. The guitarist could have accidentally stepped on my fingers. It was awesome and I still can't hear.
I want to sleep for a week but I think I will be in Philly this weekend.

And I almost spit my coffee on my keyboard this morning. Yeah, ok.. I KNOW I have foot in mouth disease, but that was just funny... (and um, so who was the blond?)
Speaking of dreads.. I must remember to look up the guy who was next to us Sunday night, we randomly have people in common and I'd be happy to run into him (and his wife) in less deafening situations.
