This isn't what my usual entry is like, but because it's a recurring dream, I thought it worthy of note.
I'm at my grandfather's house, but it's just a little different...it's the windows, they are going up to down from the floor to ceiling. Anyway, I wake up in the middle of the night, it's raining outside, and I see a figure out the window, in the distance, and it's getting closer. The figure is hooded and cloaked, and his face is deep in the hood, I can't make out any features. I see him, but I was startled by his sudden appearance, so I pull away from the window.
Then, last night...I roll over, look out the window again. It's still raining, but instead of being off in the distance, the figure is on the other side of the glass. I still can't see any features on his face, just black and deep. I don't turn this time. I stare the figure directly, then I hit the glass, as you would hit a fish tank to get the attention of some small aquatic thing. He doesn't budge, so I hit harder, and harder. He finally darts off to the side. I get out of bed, call the police and it won't connect. I tried again, but nothing. The phone rings, and I'm asked to identify myself. I give my name, and then the phone goes dead, right after I say that there is someone outside the house.
Then I wake up.
Pretty odd huh? I thought about it, and what if the figure is literally a thief of some kind? To steal or hurt my Grandfather? (it's his house, after all)
But what if the figure is Death? The hood and cloak? Then again, they, being both death and the thief, both would steal from my grandfather. One would take life, the other would take life. They are the same, aren't they?
I'm not one to analyze my dreams. But I felt like doing this one, because it's way creepy and It's happened twice now. So there. Meh.
