Who is Empress Dowager Cixi, pray tell? :)

I keep my yummy food in a canister on my desk and I break it out when I want or need a treat. But it helps when I can't look at it constantly. XD

I've run out of Lush vanishing cream. :( We have Lushes here but I don't know if they have it; I'm going to have to research. Or hop a plane and shop in Covent Garden real quick. :/ I've been saving my British Lush yummies for fun. x) I actually have a big box of new stuff (gifts I get from my pen pals, just stuff I haven't used yet) that I break into for fun. x)

she was the last empress of china! really amazing woman, but quite a sad life...
isn't uk lush cheaper for americans, even with the postage? that's what i heard anyway! i just had a lovely lush bath! by the way, i posted a package to you about early-mid april, but i had to send it surface mail, so i'm not sure when you'll get it! i promise to reply to messages sooner from now on though...

I might have to google her. :3

Well...UK Lush might be cheaper, even with postage and handling, but I'd rather just hop a plane and go to a British Lush. :3 I'm dying to hit up the *Tesco,* for God's sake!

Thank you for the package! I'm not sure if it's come or not, I did get a package but it was from London and it's being held at the post office. I'm going to investigate tomorrow after work. :3

We have conversations all over the place!

Empress Dowager Cixi had a crazy history...I just skimmed that but wow, those portraits of her were amazing, all of them. I might have to read that book now, because the way she took power and become second Noble Consort (or whatev) is really interesting!

We mostly covered the package on Facebook, but the one that came from London was from Rhian...so nothing got lost between the Royal Mail and the US Postal Service. XD

Speaking of packages, I love how you wrapped mine. It was very intricate.

Box -> Wrapping paper -> Two gift bags taped -> Little presents gift-wrapped

I loved it. XD

I like products, too. It's always a zen thing, to go shopping and price things. I've been considering a new TV but the dimensions mean nothing to me, since I have no idea how big the one I have is now. I broke the remote and it's pretty old and ghetto, so I think I might buy a replacement. And put the old one in the crafting room! (I always need noise and chaos around me...)

I want to see pics of the stuff you got! I'd be afraid of lost mail but I also love found mail! :)
