Summary: America needs help with his Halloween costume, and England can sew...
The next morning England was pleasantly and sadly surprised to discover that America had packed up and left that night for France. That nation's representative was holding an elaborate and unnecessary costume party that night, and England preferred to stay away from France as much as possible for as long as possible.
The Brit puttered around his kitchen, making his morning cup of tea and wishing he could have at least gotten the American to make breakfast before he'd left.
He was jolted out of his reverie by a polite yet insistent knock on his door. The Englishman went to his door, abandoning his toast for whatever his toaster had in store for it.
“Japan!” England greeted, opening the door, “Good morning.”
“Ohayoo Gozaimasu, Igirisu-kun,” Japan replied. “I thought you might not yet have a costume for France's party, so I brought you this. I will, of course, understand if you do not wear it.” The Asian man handed a box to the Englishman, before bowing and leaving.
England let the door slowly close behind him as he moved to the living room. He placed the box on the coffee table and carefully opened it. Inside the box was a long blonde wig, a stuffed bra, a pink and white dress, and some accessories, including shoulder armor. There was also a sheet of paper with an inventory and a picture of Princess Zelda.
The Brit's face turned bright red and he dropped the paper like it had burned him while taking a few quick steps away from the table. Then slowly, ever so slowly, England approached the table, embarrassment stamped plainly on his face.
“W-well,” he thought, “it's not like I had planned out my costume yet anyway... But I'm doing this for my benefit, not for anyone else!”
The Englishman continued to blush, fingering the dress. Their outfits would match perfectly... It's almost as though Japan had planned this... "Bloody hell, it's worth it... just to see the looks on their faces," he said, grimacing, as he resealed the box in preparation for the trip to France's house.
