I've been pretty antisocial this whole week.
Last night I went to take a nap at like 8 and didn't wake up until 12 today. haha.
Today should be fun though, I definitely want to go out tonight. I feel restless.
Everyone should listen to Bob Dylan's Corrina, Corrina.
I want to get so much better at writing. I've been reading a lot of short stories lately, and they have been amazing me. I suggest everyone read Water Off a Black Dog's Back by Kelly Link. But seriously, what some writer's can get across in not even ten pages is amazing. It's so intimidating, it makes me almost not even want to try haha. But I will.
I never understood when Mr. Schmitt would say that he wanted to be a poet until he read poetry and realized how hard it was. I guess that's because when I was younger I would read and be like...I can do better than this haha. But when you get into truly fantastic literature like Thomas Hardy(in my opinion anyway) and are exposed to more and more less well known but just as wonderful writers, you have to take a step back. It's hard to even dissect their works and know how they did it. I want to know though! I want to be so much better at writing than I currently am.
