VS on the catwalk
Anyone watch the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show? I quite liked the Highland segment. Really nice. The last segment sure as hell had a lot of bling bling. Not too special though in general. I found that this year most of the pieces were basic designs dressed up with lots of theatrical elements (feathers, capes, etc) that made it look more than it was. I understand that it was a fashion show but obviously a show like this (before Christmas) is meant to raise revenue, which basically means that if I'm going to be convinced to buy a 45-50 dollar bra, I want to be able to see it for what it is as a beautiful stand alone piece. This looked a bit like you were covering up a bad meal with lots of ketchup to make it taste better. Looking forward to some of the photo's which will crop up on the net soon of the Highland bit.
