Zoe *loved* her first day of school. It's apparently very exciting that she got to put a folder in her new backpack. I think that makes it more official. She reports that she has three new friends, and that she learned about paper clips. Apparently "if your paper clip goes to red, you have to go to the principals office." Goes to show that most of my brain hasn't gotten past age 5 because today I bought a new backpack and I cannot wait to place my items in it! My Anatomy professor probably won't be putting my name on a frog... but maybe... on a sheep's heart?

lol! Actually, I think it's the other way around. They've been using this kind of color code in pre-school and kindergarten for a long time. See how much our government thinks of us?
