the roadtrip was long, but it was really good! full of diet coke and plenty of music (mainly wicked and hsm - haha). it was nice to spend time with ian before he went off to college. kind of a last hurrah for brother/sister time i suppose.
saturday morning i chopped off all my hair & then ian and i got on the road! we drove to maryland & then woke up sunday morning to drive to conneticut. grandpa and neia were really glad to see us, and we had a great time at their new house. it's HUGE (especially for just two people). then monday afternoon we drove home - with a short stop at a hollister outlet in conneticut.
it's always so good to come home to new hampshire. it finally is feeling like home now. and obviously seeing mom and dad is always refreshing. i'm lucky to be part of a really close family.
mom'll be home from her doctor's appointment soon, and i should probably take a quick shower.
