Avatar DVD comes out tomorrow
So,
Earth day is tomorrow and Avatar is coming out on BluRay. Also later this year there is a special edition coming out with extended scenes and special features. This reminds me of the LOTR releases where they released the basic edition in August and then without advertising it much at the time planned a special edition that was 100x better than the basic version in November.
I was going to see about picking it up tomorrow, and while looking into prices and bonus features and packaging this came up.
The movie studio's should really think how they treat the customers before wondering why so many of them don't really care about pirating a copy of a movie. Especially one that has made $2.7 billion and makes 3 blatant cash grabs. (this release, special features release in Nov, 3D release in 2011).
I really look forward to Avatar 2 : The Search for More Money as it will drive home the major lessons taught by this movie.
