Hello internet!
So, news... Hmmm, there is a slight burning on my back, linked no doubt to the tattoo I just got, which is very pretty and will be prettier when it hurts less. Or at least what's what parents always say.
Unlike the cat in the box (hello people who study philosophy), the internet apparently keeps ticking when I don't look. As do people. And time. Well, that's getting a little too Wuthering Heights (I'm just full of obscure refernces tonight, aren't I?) for me.
Speaking of Wuthering Heights, guess where I'll be on the 20th of December? Oh yes, I'll be sitting staring at a stage with bigpipes, 3 choirs, a symphony orchestra and most importantly of all... Eric Idle.
It's an 'oratorio' entitled Not (crossed out) the Messiah: He's just a very naughty boy and I reckon it might just be brilliant.
I looked at my account balance today and it seems I have been paid 3 times as much as normal. I suspect some mistyping or fuck-up with HR (I work in government, so I know how incompetent government workers can be), but until I find out, woo! I've also had my traineeship contract extended till end of the year, rather then TOMORROW and I'll probably get a 6 month contract for next year, with allowances for study.
So yes, that's the boring stuff done with.
I can smell the ink in my tattoo.
I have other stuff to say, but I want to drive in my car with the music on loud and read my new Sandman and Buffy comics.
And study, ooof coooourse:)
