You know who they are - the people who check your id and hand out ballots. I was at my precinct just before 5 am, and didn't return home until 8 pm. During that time, we did not leave the building. However you look at it, that's a long time to stay in one place.
Because it's a non-presidential election year, and because it was the primary election (where the party candidates are selected) rather than the general election which happens in November, there was very low turnout. In fact, the turnout in our precinct was less than 12 %!
Government only works when people take the time to vote!! If you don't vote, you have no right to complain about who gets elected!
