malcolm in the middle is just a horrible show
not too much going on
friday i went with kelly to pick up her tennessee boy from philly
he's totally adorable
i was supposed to keep his friend company but he's 28 so i wasn't too keen on that cuz what if i fell in love like therese was hoping (before she knew his age)
he's just too old
gotta learn from your mistakes sometime
hehe
anyway so i went to nana and grampa's to see uncle jim aunt marcie and abby and sarah was there too
sunday was katie's big redbank party
it was a lot of fun
but i wasn't really feeling it that much
mom came finally!!!
i want her to be close to the lautos because they are an awesome family
but then it kinda made me sad
everyone was there with their bf or gf or husband or wife
and there's me mom and grandma katie
scott was running late so i hung out with neil and katie and vinnie and vicki during the fireworks
but then danielle came and was my date for a little
and i don't mind that
i could care less being the 5th wheel
hehe good show
katie's grandmothers were absolutely amazing to my mom
they saved her a seat
they never let her out of their sight because they are just too cute
they made her eat
etc
so adorable
and grandma katie has been a widow for a long time now too
so i'm sure she was in the same place as my mom
but i just felt like mom was really old
because she is a widow
i just missed dad
i wanted him to be there
and although i miss him everyday it was really there on sunday
i don't know
on holidays we are with our huge family and everything seems perfect
so those aren't so hard
but when you go to a party where you don't know anyone it would be nice to have your spouse to talk to
scott came later
he was stuck in traffic in redbank for like an hour and then parked and walked
he ate and everyone who was left there had a good time talking
then the three of us left
scott and i watched monsters inc
then to bed
and up around noon to go to the beach
i can really barely walk cuz i am so sunburnt
i was laying on my tummy reading so only the back half of me is burnt
but it's bad
then we went to nana's for dinner after climbing in my house through a window
dinner was good
aunt donna lisa amy and sarah were there too
everyone got to meet scott
uncle danny and aunt suzi and elaine met him too at the beach
he's a very sociable guy
i was never worried that they wouldn't like him
sarah didn't like the way he dressed and when i kissed him goodbye sarah almost died
she's like
i can't believe you kissed him TWICE!
haha
she's too cute
i still don't know what i'm doing with these boys
i'm absolutely amazingly comfortable with scott and i love that
we've been "seeing" each other for more than a year now
he turns 21 today
he gives the absolute best hugs in the world
but he knows everything
you can't tell him anything he didn't already know
he never has any sympathy because his life is always worse than everyone else
he works harder etc
he gave some opinions that were really ignorant and made me really upset but i'll talk to him about that later
i think i'm just happy the way everything is right now
i can and do go on dates and hang out with other guys
but still seeing scott who doesn't want a real relationship
which is fine for the position i'm in right now
i guess i'm done now
off to bed even tho i can't really sleep cuz of the sunburn
