Writers' block?! I think this was my favorite one yet!

I'm afraid I'm just going to have to make a very unwieldy and disjointed list of things that I adored, and hopefully you will be able to find at least a bit of meaning in the garbled fragments of it. :D

1. Having a coed bathroom on my coed floor in my coed dorm... The hair in the shower bit was just like *SHUDDER*. XD I'd cast cleaning spells, too, if I could...

2. Hair gel. HA!! I love how it's all ritzy, too. So Malfoy-approved. This part was also particularly wonderful because so many people do "Oh, he combed his hair differently, and he suddenly looked like a real person" -- heck, I've done it, twice just that I remember -- but you handled it with singular grace. And singular Ron. I definitely lol'd with him. Yay Ron!! (On that note, it drives me up the wall when Dramione writers tear Ron to pieces just for being in the way, which you are not doing, which is awesome. :D ( ... )

I misspelled Houyhnhnm! I am eternally shamed... j/k

Good to know what FTW stands for. I remember about seven years ago when I had to ask someone what LOL stands for, and now I say it in my head. (Isn't that awful?)

I actually kind of like math in that once you've found your answer, you can just move on. Plus, no presentations or essays. :P

Planning actually puts me off of fiction writing. Just a little insignificant fact I decided to bore you with lol.

This chapter was made of win! Competition is heating up, and Ron is prat-becoming, which is sure to turn Hermione off - that is, if there were any feelings more than friendship she feels for Ron?

Oh, I hope there'll be slow-burning glares (with a sidedish of desire) and secret admiration for each other soon! But not too soon or I'll be going WTF, haha.

It wasn't so much the planning as trying to make the scenes long enough to fill up the chapter.

Well, technically, she is dating him. But that won't last long! :P

I can probably work in some glares for ya.

This is a bit OT, but I don't know how JK can make Ron and Hermione fall in love with each other, now that I'm older and a little more wiser - okay, not really, but whatever. It's just...Ron doesn't match up to her intellect. At all. Would Hermione really be able to stand that? Seriously?

What I find kind of funny is that they have a love/hate relationship, and yet we seem to want Hermione to have an even deeper love/hate relationship. lol

Just curious, but how old are you? A general age-range is fine if you don't like answering that.

Yeah, but it's MALFOY. That makes everything okay. LOL. Seriously but: at least Malfoy matches up to her intellect somewhat.

I'm legal in nearly every country, except for the US - its 21 there, right? Most of the time I forget that actually am legal though. I never celebrated my 18th.

You?

I keep wondering, though: in the books, does Rowling actually show that Draco's smart, or is it an assumption we fans have made? Not that I don't think he's smart, just that I don't exactly know if his grades are more Harry level or just below Hermione level.

It depends on your definition of legal. Some things are legal/start at 18 (voting, smoking, paying taxes, age of consent) and others at 21 (drinking, gambling.) 18 is probably what you're thinking of, though. That's pretty much the adulthood marker. Oh, and I'm 21. :)

I don't think it's an assumption we fans have made. Several websites with character profiles of HP have said that he's a smart boy. Though, I suppose I should take into account that the internet isn't the most reliable source around. *rolls eyes*

Well, in Australia, I think the big fluster of being legal is at 16 - that's our age of consent. Being legal to buy alcohol and cigs at 18 really has no effect since they all do it well before their time. But anyway, to lessen any confusion, I'm 18. (And hating it too...is 21 any better?)

I dunno. But I didn't dislike eighteen, so... lol
