Heart don't fail me now, courage don't desert me~
So I'm still chatting with the same job prospect and we discussed salary a bit where they asked me what I was looking for then responded with what they had been thinking about as their target range and if I could be flexible (amounts were 55K and 40-45K respectively). I said I could, but was hoping to go no lower than 50 and they responded asking me to come in again as they are trying to determine who to hire between me and another person and want to chat more about the company and answer any last questions I have before they make an offer. We'll see how it goes, I already have a meeting setup for 5pm on Monday. It will be..interesting to go to something that is like an interview (but less formal) after work instead of before... (usually I take the morning off to go to interviews - but I can't do that this time as a) it's very short notice and b) I'm already taking today off ^^; ) I'm glad that this all happened on my day off, though as it meant I could chat with my Dad about every aspect of the e-mails I was getting and what to respond to them~ I would be so lost if I didn't have them to consult with -_- ::: hugs her parents :::
Anyway, other non-job news... I've been reading Red River again ^_^ (Sora wa akai kawa no hotori by Shinohara Chie) I got volume 23 (English) in the mail last week and decided I couldn't hold out anymore so started reading all of the volumes from the beginning. I finished volume 15 on Wednesday and plan to read through at least 16-18 today~ Volume 16 is the last volume I read in the Japanese version so it means I'm finally caught up and can even surpass it to finish the whole series. ^_^ The series is 28 volumes though so it means I have to read some of it in Japanese again (specifically volumes 24 and 25, I wonderfully have 26-28 scantalated~). Right before digging in I tried to convince myself to wait for volume 25 (which I preordered last week) so that I could read it all in English, but that would mean I would have to wait until April 2009, so I decided 'what the hell' and dug in anyway. ^.^ Anyway, off to read~
