no we're not...the world is not going to explode because of this. People bitching about how we're all going to die now that bush was re-elected is driving me nuts. I mean, it's not THAT bad...if the world is going to explode, it's not like Kerry would have saved our lives either. I'm sorry, I don't want to bitch to you about this...it's just that EVERYBODY is telling me we're going to die and it's over now and everything's terrible...it won't be that bad.

no we won't die well maybe...
its just not going to be smooth sailing, but atleast he can't run again after this term thats a plus, im more upset about the 11 states who voted against gay civil union then anything else at the moment, although i shouldn't be because that was expected considering they were all southern states, just an over all pessimistic clound has decended for me, i dunno sometimes,

im going to go buy a pack of ciggarettes now

nat made a good point thoughsince bush is re-elected hopefully more people will want to get involved and be active were as if kerry would have won those people would have just sat back with a sigh of relief, maybe yes maybe no to this, but its a better way to look at it...

well, I don't know about people being more active because bush won...I mean, he did win the popular vote this time. I could definitely see people being more active about this election regardless of who won though...hell, I was certainly more active. Because it was a really important election regardless of the turnout. Non-partisan organizations were popping up everywhere and I volunteered on multiple occasions for four of them. People are more active...and these organizations are continuing...they're no longer about voting, but informing people about what's going on in our country. So people are certainly becomeing more active from what I can see ( ... )
