I've been listening to Tom Waits a lot recently. I really like him; I think it's partly because he reminds me of my dad and I love my dad. He always quotes Tom Waits at the most appropriate times which for him is about every hour or two. I'm beginning to pick up on the habit; it's hard not too when I hear certain cliches all the time from my dad

I agree completely. Simple people have no reason to do any harm to you because they don't need or want anything that you have. You really can trust simple people; it's wonderful to know that you can trust people too.
