Sephiroth was seated in his office, typing up a report on his computer, when Cloud entered. Peeking over the monitor, he offered Cloud one of those strange Sephiroth smiles (that wasn't really a smile at all, but tried so hard to be one). "You're late," he said simply without even looking at the clock.

However, it was of no concern to him. Cloud was still paying for the hour, after all.

"I-I know! I'm so sorry. They told me last minute about practice." he panted, making his way into the office. He looked around, taking in the feel of it. He looked over at Sephiroth, offering his own smile. He shifted around some, setting his bag down by a couch he spotted. Whether he was supposed to sit down or not, he did. It felt nice to be in the cool room, especially after the marathon he ran to get there.

Sephiroth nodded and stood up. "It's fine," he said simply, grabbing his notebook and heading over to his special psychiatrist's chair. Sitting down, he crossed his legs and propped his notebook up.

"It seems this is the first time you've been me in professional attire," he said with a bit of a laugh, as the first time he saw Cloud he was wearing sweatpants and the second time he was wearing a...frilly pink apron.

Cloud laughed, nodding. "Aa. This is most likely the only time I'd wear my uniform. I don't particularly like being..formal.." he finished in a soft whisper, rubbing the back of his still slightly damp spikes. He did look up though to see Sephiroth's 'professional' clothes. He blushed only lightly, making a note that the other did look handsome. He coughed slightly, sitting back.

"Though.. the frilly pink apron kinda..freaked me out." he admitted, wringing his hands together as if he was afraid to make Sephiroth mad for the comment.

Sephiroth laughed harder. "I apologize. I wasn't...quite myself." He coughed, wanting to erase that memory from his brain, as well as everyone else's. Great.

"So, you said you came here from a track meet of sorts? How was it?" He always started off with small talk. Getting to know your patient was key, even though he had already spent some time with Cloud over the phone and even at his home. Ah well.

Hearing Sephiroth laugh from it made Cloud smile, snickering some. "I don't think a lot of people were themselves." he replied, shifting some on the couch. He himself hadn't been himself, even withdrawn more than usual. But it was like overnight that he felt better, which he found made him feel better.

Cloud looked up at Sephiroth, nodding. "Yea. They said yesterday that it would have been canceled but right before the bell rang, said it was in session so it kinda put me behind. Even though it was only practice, the coach said we'll be having a meet soon so I guess I don't need to schedule an appointment then.." he replied, slowly relaxing in the other's office. It felt nice that Sephiroth tried small talk, which would mean that Cloud wouldn't be so tense on telling him what he needed to when they got onto what was wrong with Cloud's mind.

Sephiroth nodded, subtlety jotting down notes in his notebook. "So you're interested in sports then?" he asked, shifting a bit in his chair to get comfortable.

Cloud nodded, smiling. "Yea, Track the most though I have played soccer some back in my past." he replied, watching Sephiroth. He wanted to ask if Sephiroth used to be into sports when he was younger but he closed his mouth again. But then again, it couldn't hurt to ask. "Did you ever play sports when you were younger?"

"Interesting," Sephiroth said, jotting more things down, his eyes never leaving Cloud's face. When Cloud asked him the question, his eyebrow raised and he thought about it for a bit.

"I was more of an intellectual student, but I did kendo outside of school."

Cloud seemed to blush lightly when Sephiroth kept looking at him, turning his head away to rub the back of his spikes. "Ahh I see. Kendo sounds nice but I don't think they have it at this school.." he mumbled, finally looking back up once he was sure that the pink color was gone from his cheeks.

"You must have been really smart."

Sephiroth smirked, tapping his pen against the back of his hand. "I suppose I am," he said with an air of self-confidence. "What about you. How are your grades?"

Cloud's grades..were slightly good. Nothing he would brag about though. "Some are good and some aren't. Though, I've never gotten a D or anything but then again, I've never gotten anything lower than a 90 on my progress and report cards." Now that the blonde thought about it, that was right. So that meant his grades were quite good, right?

"Are you particularly concerned about your grades at all, if even a little?" Sephiroth asked. Though those were all very good scores, he probably would've gone insane(er) if he had gotten below a 99% in any of his classes. That's how much of a perfectionist he was.

Cloud thought over the question, chewing on the inside of his lip. "Well, since it is my junior year, I've slowly started to care more since I need to. I can't afford to fail anything because if it affects my credits for my senior year, I'm screwed. And that I will make me mad." he replied, though his voice did give away that he was scared of missing anything from classes because of this.

"Do you get stressed out from classes at all? A lot of students tend to, it's a very normal occurence," Sephiroth said simply, scribbling more notes into his notebook.

"Mostly just around the times of big tests like Exams and such. Any other test is fine but the big ones scare me that I don't study enough. And it makes it worse when the teacher says it could determine if we graduate. Because that forces me to stress out more while I study." Cloud sighed, squirming some in his seat.
