I guess someone tipped off Mother Nature that it was finally really winter...

I didn't have time to post my happy thing for yesterday:
My family celebrated Christmas early ('cause they're all leaving town), and though cooking all the food was a lot of work, it all turned out all right and everyone liked the presents I bought them!

And today:
I got to work to find a present on my stash - my co-worker got me a book! ^_^

Now that I'm in the house, I have no intention of leaving it tonight. It's frickin' cold out there, and I'm not good at warming up once I'm chilled. I spent most of today shivering at work, in spite of my knee-high socks and long-sleeved shirt/hoodie combo. My thermostat is set at only 69 degrees, but it feels downright balmy in here comparatively.

My goal tonight is to do as little as possible. I have to bake some pumpkin bread (a thank you to that prior-mentioned co-worker), but I think I'm gonna try to convince Tom to make dinner. While I'm curled up on the couch with a book and a blanket, preferably. Dunno how well that will work, but we'll see.

Tomorrow we're having dinner with Tom's dad. It's a birthday-Father's Day-Christmas tradition, and I think I missed the last birthday, so I'm excited to go. I hope we go somewhere tasty. ♥
