LexiconLand!

 Hi fish!

When June's come and gone and we have all surrendered to anything and everything just to cling on to the Lexiconverse just a moment longer, I know we're all going to be sad and moping (at least until SRB's new book comes out) so I am proposing a LANDCOMM.

For those that don't play, you sign up, get sorted into a team, and for three months you play games like writing challenges, graphics challenges, puzzles, jigsaws, word searches, scavenger hunts, Big Bangs, luck challenges, etc. etc. It's a game where participation isn't just great - it's absolutely key to winning. Teams rack up points by joining in, by voting on challenges (the winners get points), by sharing the game...

The participation element is what's the most interesting. Because of the varied challenges, landcommers inevitably end up picking up a few skills on the way. I've been playing leverageland and learned how to pic spam, and stargateland  taught me how to make GIFs. My writing's never been more prolific, thanks to the landcomms, and I guess I've bonded with my fandom friends even more, which is awesome. <3

Sooo what I'm proposing to do is a run a Lexicon Landcomm - Lexiconland - starting in July. Buuut what I need is input. And what's the best way to get input? POLLS!!!

Poll Poll one!.

Teams are important. You bond with your team members. Sorting is based on a short application form, where people will get their first choices if possible, but team numbers must be kept even. Think of it as the Sorting Hat, but where the Sorting Hat gets given specific numbers of how many kids must go in which house.

I broke the team poll, because I have no brain today and should be dutifully punished.  But everyone who played so far voted for

Team Human, Team Demon and Team Magician

so that'll be what the teams will be unless there's loud demand for otherwise.

I will come back later with more polls if this stage is encouraging. :)

Edit: I broke the whole post, so here's another one to fix it. In the spirit of transparency, I broke the polls because I was being privileged and un-diverse, and used lame in an inappropriate manner. I sincerely apologise, and hope attackfish won't have to correct me in the future.
