Yes, I am a homeowner now. I have begun making lists. List of things that need to be fixed. Of people who need to be called. Of dreams I have for the house. Of items I need to purchase. There is so much to do. I want to get to work and start making it my house - removing wallpaper and carpet, painting walls, planting my own plants in the ground. I am so excited for the day I actually get to sleep there.
But I drank a lot of wine and had an insubstantial dinner last night, so I should really take a nap before I start on that other stuff.
After my nap I'm going to sit back and let myself be happy. (I will be happy during my nap too, but I won't notice it as much.)
