Snow Days and Backaches

I don't sit at my chair properly. I spent $100 on a chair (and it was on sale! It's really $150 worth of chair) and more than that on a desk and I do not use these things in a way that keeps me from pain. I really could have used yoga last night but alas, it was canceled due to the snowpocalypse.

Um, anyway. As I've said, cyber schools don't get snow days. So we have been working all this week. Even though the storm is such that kids are having power outages and internet outages, we have been holding class anyway. However someone at "the office" told us yesterday they understood, and hey, take an hour to go play in the snow with your kids or whatever who may indeed have a snow day. And then send pictures. Oh, people sent pictures all right. Like so many. People just bundle up their babies and stick them in the snow. Apparently this is a Thing. Like tossing your cat in the snow is also a Thing. Well. Even though I had an inbox full of people's kids standing or propped up in the snow looking bewildered, it did kind of help to build community. For my part I sent out my snow dragon and Rufus in the Snow. Wow, look how many views he has!

Anyway other than that. My trukken is fixxed. This does me little good since there are no roads to speak of, nor parking spaces, and I really don't feel right asking anyone to take me to get it in this weather, and the stupid body shop says they don't have anyone to spare to come get me, even though it would only take half an hour and isn't that a service they are supposed to provide?

So last night I sewed instead. Finished up one shirt and started on another, which already looks and fits much better with the addition of Thermal Pirate Side Panels.

I am really having a hard time concentrating on work, as evidenced by the fact that I am posting this during the work day.

Not sure if Dance Alloy is closed. Not sure if I am going tonight even if it is open, even though I could really use the interaction and the time out of the house.
