Originally uploaded by marmal8. A bit challenging - lots of increases and decreases, carrying yarn over behind the work, changing colors, and then wrestling the final project into shape around the stuffing. Here's the pattern if you want to have a go at it.
Probably took about 3-4 hours, mostly because I wasn't paying attention while I was knitting it and had to take out several rows...I was automatically working the increases every other row and thinking, gee, this thing is going to be awfully small...oh, well, if you follow the directions, it helps. I actually did the frosting and sprinkles at the end of the pattern, not at the beginning like you're supposed to because - guess what - I wasn't paying attention. The yarn I used for the sprinkles is variegated - that's how I got so many colors. Using 5 different strands would have been even more of a tangle than it already was.
