Summary
What has happened since whatever last happened;
I am now officially 18. Hoooorah!
Kyle and I broke up. Kyle and I got back together. Kyle and I are now on a non-strict extended break until further notice. He still gave me a teddyburr for my birthday.
I learned the 3rd mvmt. of the Mendelssohn in a week. And it's crystal-ly amazingly clear.
Saw the One Act Play win REGIONALS! Yahh.
Got a scholarship from U of S. Was definitely NOT expecting that...
I also learned the lyrics to my Verblieschen Schtanden thingy song in a few hours. Wow.
I FAILED to learn calculus and chemistry properly, which merited a 75 and 80, respectively. pathetic.
I failed to learn all but a few history terms (INCL. sackbut) and read a bit about brandenburg. Ha ha!
I found out that the Brahms Symphony no. 2 is tough shit and that I can't sightread it.
I wrote the most amazing English midterm essay, complete with the thesis of, "The authors of The Tin Flute and The Great Gatsby centralize the issue of self-deception around the theme of money and desire." Or something or other, I think it was worded more elaborately on my exam. And more mindfully.
Probably drove my car over a good 50 times this week, incl. 2.3 tanks of gas.
Watched Anthony pass out on (other) Kyle's bathroom over the bowl, and saw Tyler drink glass and spit out blood. Not a pretty sight.
Ordered my grad dress. SCORE!
There's probably tons more, but it's not important. My life has actually been so hectic I haven't even had time to dwell on the whole break issue, which surprises me. I know it says 'unspecified', but we're thinking that the end of april is a good time to see where things are, since then is the time that almost everything comes to a screeching halt minus le music for moi, and our exams.
Tomorrow I have a rehearsal with Karen, scholarship competition at the Conservatory, and then the Best of Baroque concert at the Rex Sneider aud. Don't forget some panicked Calculus midterm studyage. My most important thing is to write a page of 'how to do different type of questions' and as long as I remember I'll be fine. I need to go through some of the priming stuff again but I'll be fine otherwise.
I'm really hungry, but I think Ill go to bed. goodnight.
