So. Married then.
It's hard to know what to write after such a momentous occasion. I've tried a couple of times and sort of petered out part way through, so I'll try to be brief this time around.
The day was awesome. So many degrees of awesome. Nothing happened that we wished we'd changed. Nothing happened that we regret in any way. We had an absolute ball, improv dance routine and all, and I think, by extension, everyone else did too. It was silly, it was unique and it was very, very us.
With regards to weather, all I asked for was an hour without rain so we could get some photos at the abbey. We got that and so I am very happy. The Spread Eagle did us proud, with food, organisation, rooms and everything. I do not have enough praise for them and would highly recommend them for any function, big or small, and especially for weekend breaks as their rooms are amazing and the included breakfast is to die for. We will certainly be going back. If I could have nicked the room (in fact any of their rooms) and annexed it to my flat I would do so. Our cake was amazing. I cannot thank Ann enough for that piece of edible (oh dear gods edible) piece of art.
And finally to all friends and family that made the day what it was, you are all fantastic. It would have been nothing without you.
And now we will be going on holiday. The organisation is over. Now I can go back to flying by the seat of my pants.
