Float like an Ostrich, Munch like a Hyena
Just got back from Geoff's. Spent a long weekend with him, BigRob, MJ, Stewart and, of course, Adam playing D&D. Finally got to the encounter that Geoff had started the game to run - an encounter that's been waiting about 7 years in the wings getting the party up to an appropriate level. And he had to put in something extra to make sure I didn't destroy it in 1 round and make him cry again...
It was very much what the doctor ordered - a weekend of having a laugh with good friends. On Sunday I didn't bother to get out of my PJ's. It was awesome. And now we go to epic...
Earlier we visited Geoff's Mum, who's making our wedding cake. The glorious thing about discussing cake with Ann is that she's inevitably made some and it's truly wonderful. Her cakes are remarkable creations and we've left the topper in her capable hands whilst she sketches out a few designs based around the work of an artist she likes. It should be good.
Fajitas for tea. Mixing food with crafts = win.
