Go Go Gadget Relevance
Less than a week after discovering our venue had shut down, we found have a new venue, visited it, provisionally booked it, and have now wrangled registrars and confirmed the date for only a week after where we had it previously. Admittedly it's now a bit later in the day, but in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal.
My stress levels have been insane, especially with trying to get in touch with the registrar who is harder to get hold of than me. My stress levels have been through the roof, barely slept and made myself ill, and now I've crashed with the relief of it all. However, now it's done and we're back in pretty much the same position that we were before the shitstorm happened. I have a sense of profound achievement.
Next week I've booked half of it off to primarily chill out and possibly sort out a few bits before the parents come up so I can take my Mum wedding dress shopping and take to visit the new venue.
