This was the Bacon-Turner Experience

Wedding was lovely. Saw a lot of people I don't see anywhere near enough and really should, drank an appreciable amount of wine, watched people almost kill themselves cailidh dancing directed by man in hat with stick (Geoff has bagsied that job for the future) and listened to a frankly hilarious band. The Town Hall was suitably impressive, as was Ant's occasionally comedic organ playing - the Blackadder theme and Star Wars went down particularly well with the geek heavy crowd. The bride looked remarkably fresh faced and innocent, and the groom like an evil genius about to take over the world. Watched the bridesmaids (in a manner of speaking) get mobbed by a horde of Asian tourists all desperate to have their pictures take, much to our hilarity. And participated in a zombie flash-mob on the organist. All in all a top day, mostly powered by cold and flu capsules washed down with wine. It seems to have done the trick, as I feel considerably better today.

Today is mainly planned with drinking tea and doing a few SoS bits from the comfort of the sofa-duvet.
