Brilliant! What a terrific story - beautifully done, wonderful imagery. I loved the way you allowed the story to unfold. Lovely characterisation (I particularly liked Kane and the Captain).

The Negotiator is a favourite film of mine, but I didn't actually make the connection until you pointed it out. I think this story stands on its own - more credit to you.

(One minor thing - there are a quite a lot of typing/spelling errors in here. I only mention them because this is so good, but I did keep getting thrown out of it thanks to the errors. If you ever need a fast beta, I'm always available for you).

Glad you liked it and I'm happy you think it stands on its own. And well, the movie is awesome, right? So damn good.
There is this scene at the end, where Beck's looking at Roman, all sorry but not actually saying so and trying to make up for his error in judgement, and I thought: Wow, what an interesting dilemma he'd be in (and all the other cops): to live with the fact that they believed all the crap and nearly shot him. So... story was born.

As for the other issue:
Really, so many errors? :-( I thought I got them all. Dammit. If you're free and still interested, you mind pointing them out? I really went over it with a comb, I thought :-(

Yay here it is ..... this is such a good story, well great story actually and I already told you in the email, what all I love ... but here it is again:
. omfg omfg omfg this was AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!!!! seriously, it was sad at times and I was like awww boys, aww Jensen and his nightmares were just horrible, yet understandable and omg, boys and I love it how Jensen is Kane's punching bag, such a guy thing lol and I love it how the J's beat the shit out of each other :-) awesome :-):-) Wah, this was sooooo cool ...... yummy :-) And the ending is picture perfect :-)
