Hey there. Long time not here... Still alive and kicking, though.

So, since it's been a YEAR, I thought I could maybe do something again in my Wake up-verse. I'd been toying with the urge here and there, but the real push was a comment on one of those stories I got just a few days ago (thanks, shoofus) and well... I wrote. This time, it's Jeff's turn

Oh, what a fabulous update to an amazing story. I like that you're making it plain that happily ever after might be a long time in coming, but this--this is can be good for Jensen right now.

Hey there, thank you so much :-) I always had a ...well, maybe a kink for stories that dealt more with the aftermath of disaster, how it affects the characters later on. Not just "oh, you're rescued - be happy".
But hey, things will get better, even if you have to take Baby-Steps

very nice to see an update here, and the healing for jensen and the growth for jared. of course i'd love to see them manage to make more of a connection, and learn to do it as free and equal men, which is going to be hard for both of them...

I'm really glad you kicked me, even though you probably didn't know it then ;-)
I always had a special love for that verse, and yes, they'll go get more connection. It's in my writer-shelves, that's for sure. Putting them there, though, right after where I'd left them the last time would have been too much, I felt, and I've just hinted at it through Jeff's eyes.
