From cool to epically awesome
I was listening to the Lagaan soundtrack for the first time in a really long while, and I decided to look up who was singing in "Radha Kaise Na Jale". Turns out it is Asha Bhosle, which is kind of crazy because the girl she is depicting is supposed to be maybe 20 years old, and she totally sounds 20, but Bhosle was 67 when the song was recorded. Like, I knew she was good, but I didn't appreciate until this moment just how good she is.
I wish languages were easier to learn. I want to learn so many languages and I change my mind all the time about what I would like to concentrate on. Arabic, Korean, Hindi, Tagalog, Russian, or polish up my Chinese or my French? Also, I wish I was raised bi- or multi-lingual. I'm so jealous of people who were.
