I got the place! My move-in date is August 15th, but I'll probably pay rent for my current place for all of August (if I can) so I can have two weeks of float-between time. Since it's only 3 blocks away I can carry lots of stuff over, at least in theory.
It's with one other roommate (and her little tortoiseshell cat) in a big old heritage apartment. High ceilings, wood floors, lots of windows, dishwasher, laundry. Yay!
