Winter is bad because:
1. I spent most of my evening last night laying on the couch watching the first eight episodes (Marlo and moderation are like unmixy things) of Avatar: The Last Airbender and eating camembert and rosemary crackers.
2. It was dark when I got up this morning, and it will be every morning until, oh, next March or so.
I bought another Threadless shirt on Sunday. This is Marlo's Threadless Shirt Number Eight.
MARLO: Threadless, I love you. I try not to, but I can't stop. I'm going crazy not seeing you.
THREADLESS: Look, Marlo, pretty soon your entire wardrobe is going to be Threadless shirts. You'll go broke, and you'll look ridiculous. People will stop wanting to talk to you.
MARLO: Why do you care what other people think?
THREADLESS: I just think you should start buying other t-shirts. Maybe even buying some button-up shirts, or sweaters. I just want you to have some kind of normal life.
MARLO: I don't give a damn about a normal life!
Somewhere, off in the background, a 60s pop hit by the Flamingos starts playing.
THREADLESS: I'm sorry, but it's over.
MARLO: DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME, BITCH!
Yeah, it ain't pretty. You know what is pretty, though? Avatar, the Last Airbender. I started watching it upon hobviously's recommendation, and it's really good. It's very Miyazaki-esque, and has an interesting story and characters and universe. And, as hobviously pointed out, they've created some really good strong female characters, and they make a point of showing that women can be strong and powerful and everything, too.
