I've been listening to Family Force 5's version of Carol of the Bells on repeat for the past few days. Goddamn, it may as well be Christmas for all the snow we're going to get.
I hate snow. Mostly because it's cold and wet and I have to wear my "practical" (codeword for ugly) boots that I've had for like three years. But then, I have to take the city bus across town every morning and it's really not fun when you slip on a wet bus floor and a bunch of high school kids laugh at you.
In other unimportant news . . .
Because I'm cool, I was at a party today at like two o'clock full of people I haven't seen for at least a few months. Some guy rented out a floor hockey arena for his buddies and I ended up playing goal in a skirt.
Fun times.
It's always awkward for me to see people I haven't seen in a while because I'm never sure what to talk about. Usually, the last time I talked to them there was something going on that is no longer going on now, or something major happened that I had no idea about. And I know, normal human beings can easily overcome this obstacle but for some reason it just completely throws me off. Thankfully, it usually only lasts for the first ten minutes.
I'm weird, I guess. But we all knew that ;)
Time for some tea. And my pyjamas.
