It feels like a good day
I just got up and got showered and all that and now I'm gazing out the window, looking at the trees and hearing all the birds, and I feel good. Today J and I are going into SF. First, we have a four hour slot at Black and Blue...I'm going to (hopefully) get my mandala tattoo finished, and J's gonna get a pheonix. After that, we're going to head over to the Eagle for the Dykes on Bikes beer bash. I haven't been to the Eagle in ages, so I'm looking forward to it. After all that, I'll probably be ready to go back to J's and take another shower to wash off the excess ink. Then we can lounge blissfully in her big comfy bed.
Tomarrow, we'll probably do a lot more lounging, and then tomarroe night, we're planning on going to the Butch-femme social at the Bench and Bar. I've never actually gone to one before, so I'm looking forward to it. Monday, I'll be back here at Joyce's, but since it's Memorial Day, J doesn't have to work, and she'll be here with me, so it will be fun, even though I'll be at work.
Funny aside: Last night I found out that my ex is the center of controversy with the Oakland Unified School district, where she was a teacher last year. Apparently, former students have looked her up on the internet, and have read about her sexcapades. I guess it was LJ, I'm not sure. If they could somehow find the UK board she's on now, they'd REALLY have something to talk about. Anyway, there are a number of angry parents...it's all very scandalous. I just have to say, however, that even though I am possibly now permanetly pissed off with her, and privately in my own mind have thought of ways to make her life misserable...it wasn't me who tipped them off to her "depraved" sex life.
