More Conversations with Coworkers
Oh yes, faithful readers, we were at it again today:
MM: I've had a splitting headache for 2 days now.
Me: Perhaps you have spinal meningitis? I can do a spinal tap here with a ball point pen to check.
MM: Thanks, but I'm sure it's just because I forgot to take my blood pressure medicine for the past 3 days
KB: Marlene, how are you with stroke victims?
Me: I have scissors and a spork. I can perform minor neuro-surgery to repair the bleeding, but she's on her own for the infection.
KB: Ok. We'll have witnesses that she consents to the treatment without liability.
