Recollection
September 11 has come and gone yet I still remember the horror of it all. Sitting in biology class and having the TV switched on just to come face to face with a reporting screaming
"Oh my god! Oh my god!" as the second plane slammed into the World Trade Center. It would be what I watched for the rest of the day. As all the citizens of New York could do was watch in horror as people and debree fell from the sky.
Later, I watched the first tower fall and reporters, people, and firemen fled for their lives and all that could be heard was screaming and the roar of crashing glass to the earth, soon the second tower would follow...
Such a loss of life... it's unbelieveable that other human beings could do such a thing, that so much anger and such hate could produce something so horrific. The entire day I heard those screams and cries of the helpless people trapped inside the buildings. I didn't eat my dinner and I was an insomniac as I watched tributes all night long. I awoke today with silence yet the cold and chilling memories in my mind....
