Not to get in on the big horse in town...but I donated some money to the Red Cross to help the hurricane survivors. I figured life's been pretty good to me lately so I should give some back. It really hit me when a kid that goes to Wabash College here in town came into the pharmacy to get a Rx for his little brother...in Mississippi. He was taking the medicine to his brother 13 hours away! Along with some food/water/and other stuff for his family back home in Mississippi. He tried to get a local company to donate a U-haul trailer to carry more supplies but they declined. I figured that since I can't really leave my home and go down there to help, not that I would want to get shot & beaten anyway...that I should help out in some way. I can live with the high gas prices for awhile, because in the end...I still have my home and my family. For that I'm grateful. So, go out and give a little to help. You can donate a minimum of $5.00...you pobably just blow it on fatty fast food anyway.
