(no subject)
basicly i just had a panic attack over something i probally should never have one over... my guitar tone? wtf? suddenly hated the way i sound, eventhough my guitar is no where around me and i wasn't even listening to any of our stuff... but suddenly i felt like i should be playing with a fender bassman and a tele instead of what i have... but if i had that set up pretty much all i'd play would be clean stuff... and not metal.. it's not a metal set up at all... this will pass... but seriously... wtf?!?
weekend was as followed
Friday
got off work and met mary and we left for oxford, ms. As soon as we got to oxford we went to the college and watched the rocky horror picture show. it was good and i was excited because i'd nave seen it live. We drove around a bit, struggled around wal-mart trying to peice together a costum for mary and then went to ben's house. We partied. I love ben.
Saturday
She showed me around oxford in the day light when we finally woke up. Oxford could very possibly be one of the most beautiful town's i've ever seen. The square has a great vibe as does the place in general. The college has some beautiful buildings. We ate at newks. Then i think we came back to ben's and hung out. She evenutally left to meet her friends and get in costume. Then she picked me up like an hour later. I got in the car and met her friend matt and the first thing out of his mouth was... "So i hear your metal" i laughed pretty hard. but then we ended up at some big party. Everyone was dressed up. It was fun.. i felt alittle out of place, partially because i wasn't dressed up and partially because i didn't know anyone there really. We didn't stay to long and ended back at ben's... to which we partied even harder.
Sunday
We evenutally woke up and said our goodbyes to ben and his roommates and then came home. We went to david's kid and tj maxx(to look at some tights for me for halloween). and then went to her house and hung out for a bit. I want to say we did something else... but i don't remember.
Monday
ohh god... woke up and went to work.. after work i went to practice. we left and i had to pick mary up at her house. the show was super fun... i was kinda mad that the lineup got so fucked up and we got shafted AGAIN and had to play last. So i proceeded to get trashed.we evenutally play... with our new line up.. matt gywn and ran robinson.... seriously... matt is amazing... Ran is one of my best friends and writes retarded shit like me... i love it... but it was easily one of the most chaotic shows we've ever played... i was running all over the room, getting my pants pulled down, thrown like a rag doll, beer being poured down my throat while i was playing, spitting beer on everyone and it running down my body, getting kissed while i played, getting pushed over and going nuts while still on the ground(during this i remember looking up and ran over me shredding hard... it ruled) and after we played the room was destroyed... no lie.. before it still looked kinda clean... afterwards... trash cans thrown about, newpapers shredded, beer spilt everwhere, and probally soem dead bodies.... i hit the floor after we finished and was completely trashed... we ended up at perkins and food was good.... then mary drove me home.
Tuesday
I woke up after like 3-4 hours of sleep and had to go to work.... i was still completely drunk and had to unload a truck, i remember wanting to fight the truck driver... i was miserable, not hung over, completly sore and still drunk. when i finally got off i went home and crawled back into bed with mary. We got a pizza and watched garden state and attempted to sleep again. Then we picked up kristan and went to jackson and i picked my equipment back up and hung out with ran and mccaskill for a bit. then came home.
Today
I have been recooping from the past 5 days. i have clean sheets and clean clothes. my neck is still sore as fuck as well as the rest of my body... but it's been good.
