What's new, you might ask? Here's some highlights.
I'm back in school, as you already know. Microbio, English Comp, Communications, and Chemistry are my courses. I've had a quiz each in bio and chem, got 97% and 100% respectively. Now to keep getting those grades!
I got an ipod. The big fancy 30 gig type that can play movies. My old mp3 player was broken and didn't work optimally with the Apple computer anyhow. It took 10 minutes to sync with itunes (yes, itunes froze for 10 minutes every time I plugged the player in), couldn't use playlists, and the proprietary software couldn't be installed on an Apple. So I didn't want to mail in the old product, pay to get it serviced, and hope it never broke again. Of course getting the ipod to work was an adventure in itself, but I'm enjoying it now that things are functional.
Mom and dad are getting an ellipse machine. It'll be here Friday... Might be good, since it's more convenient to just walk into the next room than it is to get dressed and cleaned up and drive 15 minutes to the gym. Glad it's not me footing the bill for it though... those things aren't cheap. I'll probably use it relatively often though now that I'm home several nights a week.
Gotta go by the library sometime soon, might do that tonight. I'm reduced to rereading my Terry Pratchett novels, which is fine for a few days but not long-term.
